Lost Letter (Writing 101: Day Five)

I’m going for my daily walk with my dog when I find a crumpled up letter. The letter is difficult to read, but seems to be pretty intentionally destroyed. I pick it up and wonder if I should read it. I read the part I can understand.

“Life hasn’t been easy for us lately and I tried giving you time, but I can’t take it anymore.”

There was more written on the letter, but I couldn’t make it out. I decide not to try and read it as it’s not my business, but I continue to be interested.

I'm a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology that is searching for their way in life. I want to work with animals by helping them in the future.
