These types of situations can occur whenever a person is having a difficult situation occur or there’s a conflict they’re trying to sort out. A person has multiple parts of them that contribute to their decisions on these conflicts. These are usually conflicts between the heart and mind. These types of conversations usually occur between the feelings a person has in their heart and the thoughts they have in their own mind.
“You’ll wind up getting yourself heart again” The head argued.
“I might have a chance this time at making it something more than just another heartbreak. I should probably take the chance for once instead of being this paranoid” The heart responded.
“Being paranoid will keep you safer. Remember the last time the person listened to you?” The head reasoned.
“It’s not the same this time. I assure you. Being happy sometimes requires taking a risk, but being paranoid can just make you a static prisoner in your own mind” The heart angrily defended himself.
“It’s hard having both of you fighting all of the time inside me. It always winds up leaving me confused and not sure who to listen to. You guys need to have a compromise in order for anything to succeed” I responded.
This situation occurs for a lot of people whenever they’ve been through a difficult time. It can be whenever a person breaks up with someone and winds up almost being with another person in, what the mind feels as, too fast. It was the first thing that came to mind from this prompt and I hope people relate to it even though it’s short.
