Unfortunately, I can’t be at the place I would rather be, but this is my best way to describe it. It’s a bit farther away than “local,” but I would still rather be there than stuck at home like right now. I talked about it in a previous challenge about the woods or park that was near my father’s old apartment.
I can imagine the animals that were around there and people’s pets running around the park behind that small woods. I can think of the playground that the kids would play on in the park. There was a bike trail I would see people starting down, sometimes me, when I was down there waiting for whatever reason.
Whenever I went there, it seemed happy during the summer.
It was always a different experience going there in the fall or winter when the kids weren’t running around. All I could see then was the lake that would sometimes overflow and the occasional stray dog or cat passing through there.
It was a difficult place to describe because there was usually something going on there, especially if I was on the bike trail. That trail would come to a great bridge and a new town I hadn’t known existed.
I hope this all helps people paint an image of a place that I spent a lot of my time as a younger child. That was when I was allowed to be there because of the custody situation with my mother at the time.
