This post is in response to the prompt “Now? Later!“
No one’s perfect about getting everything done. Everyone has some times when they’ll get distracted from their work and do things that aren’t important.
I have a bad habit of procrastination compared to most people I know. It’s gotten better over the years, but it’s still pretty bad.
Whenever I wind up procrastinating, It’s usually done because I’ve gotten lazy.
I do have certain things I do instead of the important things.
I’ll play video games with friends that I know on skype and chat with them for hours. I’ll sit and write little poems that no one will ever see and throw them away to pretend they never existed.
I do admit that this is a problem, especially for someone going into college a year from now. College will be demanding and I’m sure I’ll be one of those people stuck doing a giant project the night before it’s due, but maybe I’ll learn someday? I don’t know for sure.
Everyone makes mistakes and learns from them eventually, but everyone has their imperfections that they can’t fix.
That’s what makes us human. Right?
