This post is in response to the prompt Roaring Laughter.
It’s just recently been 4th of July here in the states. There were a lot of activities going on with family and friends.
It started off pretty normal.
I spent Friday with my partner’s family going to see fireworks and regular other stuff like it. We went to an area near the high school around my house to watch those.
Saturday, I went to see my family while my partner spent time with their own family at the family dinners we both had.
Sunday, my mother and grandmother invited my partner over to dinner to eat and play some games like my family likes to do.
After awhile of normal talking and stuff like that, we started to go outside to play corn hole and things like it. What I didn’t realize was how terrible my family is at the game and how sore you can get from playing it.
I’m not an athletic person. It’s been 2 days since that day and I’m still sore.
Me and my partner were playing with my step-father and my dad. Me and my dad teamed against the other two.
I have never had a more hilarious moment than when my partner tried to throw the bean bags onto the board and just wound up throwing them at me or my step-father that had to catch them.
It was a fun time and unfortunately people have to be there to understand how hilarious it was. I was laughing at my step-father and my partner for that the entire time.
To give you an idea of how funny it was, I was basically telling my partner to try and throw the beanbags at me and it was impossible. It made me seem really good at a game I’m also terrible at.
Happy 4th of July to the few viewers I have from the States.
