This post is in response to a prompt Frame of Mind.
I’m someone whose mood changes quite often. It can change based on one event or just on a thought I have during the day.
Right now, I’m in a state of mind that is calm, but still analyzing everything. I didn’t realize those two things could work together, but they have for me.
The best way for me to describe it is with this one image.
Imagine a computer screen filled with code on it. The computer code is coming out at a very random rate every second while it tries to work through the problem it’s meant to solve.
The person punching in that code is in a calm state of mind because he’s had the same job for many years now.
The computer is the analytic part of my mind. The person entering the code is the outer part of my brain trying to figure everything out.
The analytic part of my mind is at complete peace with what’s going on because it’s reached the realization that there will always be situations going on that can’t be controlled.
The other part of my brain always wants to know the things that are happening. Sometimes that means going outside the reason the analytic part is willing to deal with.
