A week or so ago, I read a post from a friend and fellow blogger of mine named Brett. He was looking for guest bloggers on his blog Brett’s Future.
I saw that he was looking for people to have a sort of discussion with him about dreams that they have and that sort of thing. I was interested and responded to him.
This is what I came up with for it:
“I close my eyes, my body sleeps and my mind drifts away…..
I’m sitting in the house that I’ve been waiting for since I was a little kid. I have music playing in the background that helps me feel peaceful after working long hours.
I feel no stress, only peace. My partner and me give each other peace as we relax the day off together after a long day.
I look around my house and notice the life I’ve built for myself. I have all the animals I’ve wanted around me, my career is what I’ve always wanted, and I’m with the person I care about most.
I look beside me at the person that’s helped me achieve these dreams I’ve been waiting for forever. This was something I never thought I could achieve before. Dreams can happen, can’t they?
I think back to the people that were around me before. It’s a larger group of people I imagine that have come before me. All the people I’ve known in the past, present, or will know later on. All these people that have assisted me in everything I’ve tried, whether for a day or forever, it’s helped me along the way.
I’m standing in a place I never thought I would be. I came from a child that could barely speak to something I’m proud of.
Some people don’t take my goal seriously. That’s fine, but being in this position helping animals. It’s really all I’ve wanted. It’s something I’ve dreamed about since I was 5 years old and surrounded by the animals I had when I was little.
At the end of the day, I wake up. I hear my entire mind trying to calm down. It takes me awhile to relax. Then I realize, I’m still young. I have time to make this dream of mine a reality.”
This is what I came up with. Brett did something great for me by putting it in a image and posting it on his blog and putting me as a guest there for it. Here’s the post for that on his blog and a link to his “The Dream of Life” post. Thanks for reading.
