Although this post was written a long time ago, I believe it shows the topic of using another person’s words to turn into a poem. In the book boy’s life, during my Junior year of High School, I had to pick words from it and use them in a poem. It was meant to be random and creative and for me this was the result. Thank you for any opinions.
Everything is born and dies.
Its a natural thing;
That’s life, death.
I’m just a survivor
trying to survive
the dark, scary world.
I have known long nights, with
Nothing to have faith in;
Heavy, grim nights.
He wants me to come
Down in the dark. Kill myself.
Its torture for me. Dismay.
The injuries that didn’t show.
Past is the past.
It hurt to hear this, not my home,
my heart, saddened, yearning for home.
So go while you can;
Live forever.
Visit a lot of worlds.
Take that first leap of faith.
Conquer fears, the dark, monsters.
Have courage.
Some good sense, some bad.
People have changed.
Would it make me different?
Might’ve formed, earned, my wings.
Life goes on through it all.
Magic is strong.
I lived through it all.
The torture, death.
Have a strong, strong heart.
The magic is strong inside your heart, it shows in the words you write. Touching and brilliant, you are a magician.
Thank you. Isn’t it strange I wrote that poem for a school assignment?
